The School Council is a collective association of parents, teachers, the principal, and community representatives who work together to effectively support and enhance student learning. They provide a means for members of the school community to provide advice and consult with the principal, and to advise the board. Through the School Council, parents assume an advisory role with educational matters, that range from academic programs to school policies and budgeting. The Council is a way for parents to have an active role in their child’s education and an involvement in the decisions that impact their child’s learning environment. Our Current School Council meets once a month to plan activities.
